Speaker: Rob Alexander, EMEA CPO, Jones Lang LaSalle Ltd

Rob is the Chief Procurement Officer for EMEA with responsibility for JLL internal and client spend across the 65 countries we operate in. 

In his current role, Rob leads the EMEA Supply Chain Management and Procurement Team who are responsible for the management of the supply chain throughout the EMEA region, covering our IFM, PAM, Tetris businesses. The team is organized into three parts; Category Management, Client interface and the Procurement Platform which encompasses our systems, processes and risk & compliance management.  The team is located predominantly two hubs of London and Warsaw, however, there are procurement professionals in 13 different countries across EMEA.

Future skillset requirements for Supply Chain professionals and leaders

Speaker: Barbara van Ulden, Planning Excellence and Global S&OP Lead, LifeScan

 

Barbara’s 17+ years career reflects a track record in directing complex global supply chains at large companies. Currently as Planning Excellence and Global S&OP Lead at LifeScan, Barbara oversees Global Demand Planning and S&OP, supply chain planning process improvement, master data management and reporting and analytics. Previously Barbara advanced in operational and strategy supply chain roles in Johnson & Johnson, Syngenta, Fila and Nike. In these roles she either shaped or participated in S&OP processes. She’s worked in Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands and the UK. Barbara holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi and enjoys travelling the world with her fiancé and three-year old son.

Speaker: Prof. Dr. Joachim EhrenthalProfessor of Business Information Systems, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland

Joachim is Professor for Business Information Systems at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, specializing in accelerating the implementation of new supply chain tech. He holds a PhD from the University of St.Gallen, and a MSc in Business Administration from Mannheim University. From his business background, his main areas of expertise are supply chain IT, distribution / last mile, and foreign trade.
